Highland Christian School's Foundation has been blessing our community for over 35 years!  We are so thankful for the vision, wisdom, and stability that our members contribute as we prepare students to impact their world for Christ.

More than 4,000 students have been educated and equipped to take their place in our homes, churches, and communities since Highland Christian was founded in 1909.  In order to preserve this rich heritage, the Highland Christian School’s Foundation Fund was established in 1985.

What is the Foundation Fund?

The Foundation Fund was established as a permanent source of income for Highland Christian School with the end result of keeping Christian education affordable for generations to come.

Gifts given to the Foundation Fund are restricted and kept in perpetuity.  Principal contributions are retained and invested unless otherwise directed by the donor.

The Foundation makes an annual contribution to Highland Christian School from its earnings.  These funds are used to pay operating expenses and thus reduce the amount of tuition that must be paid for each student.

Gifts to the Foundation Fund under this arrangement are truly gifts that keep on giving!

HCS Foundation | Annual Membership Appeal

The HCS Foundation is more than a fund. It is a community of people who give generously to see that Highland Christian School remains strong and vibrant for years to come.  Behind the scenes, our Foundation Board works year-round to represent YOU as they manage our investments, curate resources, and work with the School Board to plan for Highland Christian School’s financial future.

Each year, in the month of February, we invite you to join us in this cause through a gift during our Annual Appeal. Gifts given to this appeal are invested for the exclusive use and benefit of Highland Christian School.

PLANNED GIFTS

When you give a gift in your will, you model to your loved ones a legacy of generosity. By naming Highland Christian School or the HCS Foundation in your will you will help ensure that Highland Christian School continues to impact kids for Christ for generations to come.

NON-CASH ASSETS

Gifts of stock or real-estate can have enormous tax benefits and savings opportunities allowing you to maximize your impact on Highland Christian School.  While cash gifts are the most common type of gift we receive, a gift of non-cash assets is more cost-effective for you!

TRIBUTE GIFTS
