PARENT NOTE – May 23, 2022
“Just LIVE it!”
James 1:22

Over the past year, Highland Christian has taken many tangible steps to strengthen its longevity – providing Christian education to vision minded families for generations to come. HCS has built or grown future minded funds like the Choice Contingency Fund, the expansion resources, the HCS Foundation, long-term building needs, family legacy funds, and expanded tuition assistance. God certainly is moving through the HCS community. While growing these funds have been critical to achieving our long term goals, the tangible impact of so many faithful families, grandparents, donors, and friends of the school is incredible.

Although financial support has been tremendous, our school community has knocked it out of the park using their time and talents to advance our school’s mission and vision. Although this list is not exhaustive, here are some individuals that have gone above and beyond to serve our community:
• The Women’s Prayer Group
• Beth Mills and the ETC Team
• Building Christian Men Volunteers
• Lawn, Garden Bed, and Maintenance Volunteers
• PTO (leaders and volunteers)
• The Auction Committee
• Volunteer Board Members (Foundation and School Board)
• Ann Lynch, Shelly Witham, Amy Jellema, and all of the TRIP Volunteers

If you see any of these wonderful individuals, please express your gratitude for their willingness to serve the children we love so much. It is abundantly clear – God has blessed our school community greatly!
