PARENT NOTE – April 4, 2022

“Just LIVE it!”

James 1:22

When students return from Spring Break, there is always a buzz in the air. Spring is upon us, students and staff are refreshed from a week off of their regular routine, and end of the year events are quickly approaching.

This April, there are a number of regular and special events coming up! These events include:

    • Thursday, April 7: K-5 Spring Concert
    • Monday, April 11: Expansion Meeting #1 (HCS Gym)
    • Monday, April 18 – Friday, May 13: ILEARN Testing
    • Tuesday, April 19: Expansion Meeting #2 (HCS Gym)
    • Saturday, April 23: HCS Auction (HCS Gym)
  • Looking Ahead: HCS Society Meeting and Special Expansion Vote – Monday, May 2 (HCS Gym) – All parents and other society members are expected/encouraged to attend.

We covet your prayers, and encourage your participation, as our community approaches multiple big decisions for the school. In all of these decisions, our commitment is to remain rooted in our vision to academically equip, biblically ground, and spiritually nurture to impact the world for Christ.

Philippians 4: 6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Have a great week!

Kyle Weener
