We’re halfway there!

Contributions to the 2019 School Improvement Appeal will be used for a group of updates that are not fully funded through our annual budget (view full appeal here).  These include:

  • Technology Upgrades. With Windows 7 end of  life scheduled for January 2020, we will need to replace 36 computers in our building with new units operating Windows 10.  The estimated cost for this project is $25K.
  • School Security Upgrades. Highland Christian School has actively implemented many safety systems to ensure the well-being of our students.  This summer we contracted with FEA Physical Security Consulting Services and have received their recommendations for changes that will reduce additional threats and promote greater security.  There will be ongoing costs with this project.  This year’s costs are $10K.
  • Athletic Uniform Replacement. Athletic uniforms have an expected lifespan of 6 years.  Our most recent round of uniforms was purchased in 2014.  We will need to replace these for the 2020 school year and project this cost to be $5K.
