PARENT NOTE – November 12, 2018
“Run YOUR Race”
Hebrews 12:1

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for your attendance at conferences last week. We know that your involvement and support is crucial to your child’s academic success.  Just this weekend I read this in the Chicago Tribune: “Studies show that having a purpose in life- a sense of core goals, aims and direction – is beneficial for mental and physical health.  But opportunities to find that purpose, to dream big and to determine what and who you want to be aren’t always distributed equally.”  Our theme verse this year encourages your child to “run the race marked out for them.”  We see this as one way of talking about goals, aims and direction and it is a privilege to partner with you in preparing students to find value in their learning.
