Now Open....

etc... a resale marketplace  is now open at 1650 - D US 41 in Schererville (on the northwest corner of the intersection of US 30 and US 41 between Champion Windows and Siding and Dollar Tree.). Proceeds from etc... will benefit HCS/HCS Foundation.

Our hours are:

Mon 10 - 4   Tues 10 - 7   Weds 10 - 4   Thurs 10 - 7   Fri 10 - 4   Sat 10 - 4 

We are closed Sundays and holidays.

How can you help? 

1.   Donate: 

Please drop off your nearly new or gently used items such as furniture, clothing/shoes, housewares/linens, small appliances, jewelry, antique/vintage items, books/magazines, music, videos, and sporting goods at the rear of the store. Ring the bell to the left of the sign on the back door for assistance.

To arrange for pick-up of larger items that will not fit into a car, please call the store (219-865-5400). 

2.  Volunteer:  

We need in-store volunteers -- parents, grandparents, friends -- on an on-going basis in many areas:  receiving and sorting donations, performing minor electrical or mechanical repairs, stocking  departments, cashiering and bagging, creating displays and imaginative merchandising, looking up values of items on the internet, and picking up furniture and larger items with our truck.            

Other volunteers can work from home by making phone calls, helping with volunteer recruitment, handling scheduling, or by stopping at local Garage Sales to drop off a form indicating that etc... will accept donations of Garage Sale leftovers and will offer donation receipts in exchange for donated items. 

Whether you can volunteer many hours or just a few, at the store or from your home, etc.... has a place for you. 

A Volunteer Form is available on this website (See 'etc. Resale Volunteer Form' tab).   Fill out the form and return it to the store, in person, via e-mail or via USPS, whichever is more convenient for you.
